Aaron Napoleon Ortiz

Aaron has been here for almost 3 weeks now. I am so happy to have him here. He is a joy to have around. Aaron was born on May 21st at 4:59p.m. He weighed 7lbs 3 oz. and was 20 inch long. He decided to come 2 weeks before his due date and I am not complaining about that. I acutally went to my doctor appointment that morning at 11 a.m. after she examined me she said i was 4 cm and to just walk on over to Labor and Delivery. I was really nervous and Napoleon was not with me. On my way over to Lavor and Delivery I called Napoleon at work. I called once and he didn't answer, so i called again. He finally answered. He said he was in a meeting and when he saw me calling the first time he just ignored it because he thought i was calling to tell him the appt. went fine. But when i called the second time he knew something was going on. He ran out the meeting and came to meet me. Back to me.. I had to fill out some paper work then i got in my room. When Napoleon showed up I was in bed just relaxing. I really didn't feel any contractions yet. My doctor came in broke my water and they hooked me up to my drip and then i started to feel contractions. After I got to 5 cm I got my epidural and was really relaxed. After that things started to move fast. I got to 7 cm then 15 minutes later the doctor came in and said I was +2 and needed to start pushing. After a few pushing sessions our little Aaron was here. So i was pretty happy with everything. I expected things to be different, but am very happy how everything turned out. Aaron is very sweet and is growing more and more everyday. At his 2 week appt he weighed 7lbs 12 oz and 21 inches. We are so happy to have him here and that he had a smooth delivery.
